STONECREEK VILLAGE WELCOMES REI AND NEARS FIRST PHASE GRAND OPENING
Ann Taylor LOFT, Eddie Bauer, Coldwater Creek, Peet’s Coffee & Tea and More to Open Soon

STOCKTON, Calif. (April 18, 2008) – Today, Stockton based Stone Brothers & Associates and Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI), a national retail cooperative providing quality outdoor gear and clothing, opened Stockton’s first REI. This outdoor specialty store offers top recreation brands, as well as full service ski and bike shops, clinics, presentations and special events. The new 26,000 square-foot, two-story store will anchor the 15-acre Stonecreek Village at the corner of Pacific Avenue and West Robinwood Drive.

In an effort to be environmentally aware, the new REI building has incorporated several “green” elements into its design including energy efficient technology that reduces the use of electricity; ambient air sensing controls to monitor temperature and CO2 levels; and even bike racks and shower facilities to encourage alternative transportation methods for employees.

REI will soon be joined by several other retailers and restaurants when Stonecreek Village celebrates the first phase grand opening, on Friday, June 6, with activities, entertainment, refreshments, giveaways including gift cards from $5 to $500 and more. Joining the recently opened BJ’s Restaurant and Brewhouse (September 2007) will be several exciting food options, many which are “firsts” to the Stockton market. Set to open next month, shoppers will enjoy fresh roasted coffees, hand-selected teas and tasty pastries at Peet’s Coffee & Tea, as well as fruit smoothies, fresh juices, organic coffee and healthy snacks from Juice It Up!

The first phase grand opening of Stonecreek Village will also welcome several new retailers including:

AnnTaylor LOFT offers the latest trends in apparel and accessories for women. From footwear and handbags to scarves and hats, shoppers can turn to AnnTaylor LOFT for all their fashion needs at this Stockton “first.”

Aveda Lifestyle Salon proudly supports eco-friendly beauty practices with its natural product line that promotes environmental sustainability and protects biodiversity. This full-service Aveda Lifestyle Salon and beauty boutique set to open at Stonecreek Village is new to Stockton and will provide a full array of beauty services along with a selection of environment friendly hair, skin, body and make-up products.

Coldwater Creek is the one-stop shopping experience for women and a “first” to the Stockton market. This unique collection offers clothing for all sizes in misses, petites and plus sizes, as well as accessories, jewelry, shoes, sportswear, art and gifts.

Eddie Bauer is a specialty retailer, new to Stockton, selling high quality casual sportswear and accessories for the modern outdoor lifestyle.

J. Jill opens its first store in Stockton with nature-inspired clothing designs for the sophisticated woman, as well as a scenic store setting adorned in warm colors, wood textures and soft lighting.

Jos. A. Bank is a stylish men’s retailer, new to Stockton, offering an extensive selection of modern styles and trends.

Cacique is the Lane Bryant intimate apparel collection that brings figure-flattering intimates for plus-size women. From sexy to comfortable, this store carries fashionable lingerie, sleepwear, bathrobes, shapewear and more.

Gymboree brings its popular children’s line to Stonecreek Village, offering stylish clothing and accessories for newborns, infants and children.

Lane Bryant offers clothing for plus-size women. The fashionable and flattering designs that Lane Bryant offers make it a popular choice for plus-size women.

Talbot’s is a leading retailer in classic clothing for misses, petites and women. From handbags to headwear, Talbot’s offers head to toe apparel for work, as well as weekend casual.

Joining this first phase of eateries and retailers will be several other restaurants in phase two including Boudin SF and Rubio’s Fresh Mexican Grill. These exciting food options are scheduled to open in late June.

Stonecreek Village is Stockton’s first upscale lifestyle center featuring retail, restaurant and office space offerings designed to serve as a gathering place for Stockton residents and visitors.
